Thai Yoga is an ancient form of sacred bodywork that involves stretching, rhythmic deep tissue compression, acupressure stimulation via thumbing, palming, the use of the hands, elbows, and feet, in assisted Hatha yoga postures.
Explore the ancient wisdom of Thai Yoga, and melt into a sumptuous, and restorative experience!
Lotus palm is deeply rooted in the Buddhist principles of loving-kindness, the practice of presence, and is heavily influenced by Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda.
This practice encompasses your entire body both gross and subtle, and explores your joints full range of motion, not just your superficial muscles as in other styles of massage. The key element in this form of bodywork, is the practitioner’s loving kindness meditation while giving the massage. It opens a direct communication between the practitioner and the recipient’s body that intuitively allows the practitioner to know what areas need most attention and which areas need to be treated gingerly. The fluidity and rhythmical movements that encompass a session allow for a restorative energy exchange that opens space for presence, gained body awareness, and emotional healing.
In her practice, Yelimar incorporates elements of Reiki to further enhance the benefits of Thai Yoga.
